About me
The book of my world-
Before coming to terms with myself as a photographer, I have spent so many days contemplating my purpose. Seeing how much violence the world produces, I seek to change perspectives as to what real progress looks like. Being young and Black, I have grown up to realize that the world was made against my favor. One day in quarantine my friend said this to me in arabic,“mat shaebi hataa tatamakan min aleaysh”. Translate this to English and the quote means “My people died so you could live”. The sole reason why I started photography in the first place was to practice expressing my feelings. Showing my life from a Birds Eye view has made me forever proud to show who I am and who I will become. When you look at my art, open your mind to all the perspectives that you can witness. Look at what I have seen and open your heart to all the possibilities that are available to you. Love overcomes anything and everything hate has to offer and no matter what happens, I will continue to create, story tell and hopefully my work can mean something to you.
